Cookie Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
SecureSimple uses a small number of cookies, all of them needed for the site to work. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing that follows you to other sites. This page lists every one.
Cookies we set
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| securesimple | Keeps you signed in. | 14 days, renewed as you use the site; until you close the browser if you did not tick Remember me |
| securesimple.account | Remembers which account you are looking at, if you belong to more than one. | One year |
| .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Protects forms against cross site request forgery. | Until you close the browser |
| .AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider | Carries a one-time message to the next page, such as "Your password has been changed". | Until you close the browser |
Cookies set by others
On the sign-up and contact pages, Google reCAPTCHA checks that the form is sent by a person and may set its own cookies to do so. It runs on no other page.
When you pay or manage billing you are on Stripe's own pages, at stripe.com, and Stripe sets its own cookies there.
Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The public pages still work, but signing in needs the sign-in and form protection cookies, so your login will not work without them.
